seletti top brands paris

Italian pop brand Seletti returns to Maison&Objet with a new retail shop-in-shop concept, displaying the brand’s new collections. A brick-like pattern wraps the facade, and tents top the windows that double as showcases. Through the openings, visitors can take a look at the new collections and feel like they are in a real Seletti store. A black and white checkered flooring welcomes the guests to the interior. Modular pieces of furniture such as platforms and bookcases take over the inside.

maison et objet paris 2022

Metaverse, the new ElDorado for designers and entrepreneurs. Meta Sensible, this year’s inspiration theme. Paris Design Week invites us to step inside the kind of world of which we’ve all been dreaming. Hold up a comparative mirror to the sensorial and intangible, feel the emotion sparked by handcrafted wares and be moved by the sight of a digital work of art destined to be installed in a “Meta” interior, without in any way feeling torn between the two.

color trends paris 2022

A selection of colors that counters the ambient doom! From vases, textiles, baskets, hampers to chairs, discover pieces in a thoughtful palette that energize and set the tone for interiors, just as it provokes our senses and emotions!

Prime examples would be the sofas from Italian brand Saba, which are retailed in NFT form, or the rounded lines of the latest vividly colored creations presented by Mojow or Pols Potten.  At the other end of the spectrum, we are witnessing a return to natural materials and textures, artisan pieces and craftsmanship.

Dreams are already a reality. François Delclaux has put them center stage with simple, dreamlike objects. Colors are faded, with powder pink, aqua, and cloudy grey…From the veiled setting, mysteriously gossamer lighting emerges like a dream, and lightweight, poetic furniture softens the edges of everyday life. The theme of utopia is at the heart of experimentation and contemporary debates, François Delclaux tells us. Its shapes can already be seen in this resilient home.

“The physical world is no longer in opposition with its digital counterpart. Better still, the two worlds merge and cross-fertilise, mutually enhancing each other”, analyses Vincent Grégoire from the NellyRodi agency, who forged the concept.
