SHOP SERENDIPITY
Serendipity Institute for Black Arts and Heritage supports Black artists and writers throughout the year. As independent publishers, Serendipity Institute for Black Arts and Heritage curates and shares the expert voices in Black arts, heritage and cultural politics and is now respected as one of the most significant publishers for Black dance.
Serendipity seeks to safeguard the legacy of those who have come before, document knowledge for the future and present a bigger picture of arts and heritage beyond that dominated by the Euro Western gaze. Serendipityโs publications are available online, at independent book sellers and through ProQuest and Kortext, as limited-edition print copies and digital eBooks. A catalogue record for all titles is available at the British Library.
Serendipity also commissions artists to create bespoke designs available as prints and merchandise, showcasing the richness of African and African Caribbean Diaspora artistic practice.
